The installation in occasion of the 11th Venice Biennale of architecture was set in a evocative Pavilion inside the Arsenal and embodies the project of the Garden in Tianjin, where water and images are the protagonists. Entering into a labyrinth overseen by two giant statues, the visitors then get into a wide shadowy space, only brightened up by projections casted in the wall’s blind arches. The images reflect into the water, highlighting the sense of profundity of the large pool, where Mimmo Paladino’s sculptures “Dormienti”, gently float lulled by the films’ melodies.
