The villa combines formal expression with energetic efficiency: solar shading, thermal insulation, photovoltaic modules and solar collectors, light tubes and high performance glass windows all blend seamlessly in the design. Embedded in a decorated pavement, the building is developed around the dome roof, that can be partially opened and allows for natural ventilation drawing air like a chimney. The light tubes convey daylight down to the basement, thanks to special collectors placed externally.
