Salfi Palace was built at the end of 1800 by Enrico Salfi, versatile artist and painter of scenes from Pompeii. Back to Cosenza, after being engaged in the restoration of the old town, he wished that his own house could recall the shapes of the house of the Tragic Poet in Pompeii. The building underwent a long restoration process that highlighted the original inspiration, but on a contemporary key. Every design solution, from the design of the pavements and the furniture to the selection of colors was based on the protection of the building’s heritage. The palace is the headquarters of mOa, Feel and the restaurant Le cucine di Palazzo Salfi.
