The work recounts the experience of mOa at the 11th Venice Architecture Biennale (2008) as a participant. The film reconstructs the phases of installation of the exhibition from the set up to the opening to the audience. Reinterpreting the basic elements of the traditional Italian garden, the exhibition re-reads the project An Italian Garden in Tianjin trying to design new green areas and landscapes. The big projections on the water, the sculptures I Dormienti (The Sleepers) by Mimmo Paladino and the original musical setting all together evoke a dreamlike environment which leads the spectator to the rediscovery of those feelings of astonishment, amusement and peace evoked by our gardens.
